PHILGUARANTEE undergoes 2nd surveillance audit on ISO standards with TUV

Third-party auditing agency TUV Rheinland, Inc. conducted its second surveillance audit for the Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE), which covered processes under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013, on July 18, 2024, at the PHILGUARANTEE Headquarters in Makati City.

Senior Management was the first to undergo the top management audit that was conducted by auditors Jean Laguitao, Ricky Inocencio, Minda Fe Villapando, and Luisito Soriano. All PHILGUARANTEE Group Heads participated in the audit discussions.

PHILGUARANTEE has hurdled its ISO audit processes over the last many years, obtaining the re-certification for its adherence and commitment to quality processes and standards. By way of the institution’s scorecard results over the last three years, the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) has consistently recognized PHILGUARANTEE for maintaining its ISO certification. 

The Integrated Management System (IMS) implemented by PHILGUARANTEE ensures that the organization adheres to the highest standards of quality management and information security. The ISO 9001:2015 certification underscores PHILGUARANTEE’s dedication to delivering greater services and maintaining customer satisfaction. Meanwhile, the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification highlights the organization’s robust approach to managing sensitive information, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.

Prior to the conduct of the audit, the TUV audit team paid a courtesy call to PHILGUARANTEE President and CEO Alberto E Pascual. The two-day auditing is a crucial step in PHILGUARANTEE’s ongoing efforts to align its processes with international best practices. This will scrutinize various aspects of the organization’s operations, ensuring compliance with the requirements set by globally recognized standards.
