Herbosa and reappointed Directors Stephen A. Antig and Senen L. Matoto as private sector representatives to the Governing Board of PHILGUARANTEE at the Bureau of the Treasury, on September 18, 2024.
PHILGUARANTEE achieved a significant milestone by receiving compliant remarks from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) in its implementation of the Harmonized Client Satisfaction Measurement (HCSM) for F.Y. 2023. In 1977, the forerunner of this entity, called Philippine Export and Foreign Loan Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE), was created by virtue of Presidential Decree 1080 for the purpose of creating a government agency that would provide prospective foreign creditors to the country a sovereign guarantee.
