PHILGUARANTEE and Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines Inc. (MCCI) Sign MOU to Strengthen Cooperation

PHILGUARANTEE and the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industries Philippines Inc. (MCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 14, 2025 at the Embassy of Malaysia in the Philippines.

The MOU was signed by PHILGUARANTEE President and CEO Alberto Pascual and MCCI President How Han Hui, and witnessed by Ma. Cristina Oreta, MCCI Vice President and Chair of Marketing & Events, and Celso Gutierrez, PHILGUARANTEE Senior Vice President for the Priority Sectors Guarantee Group.

Also present were representatives from the Makati Business Club (MBC), Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), Maybank, BDO, CIMB, and other partners from the business and financial sectors.

The MOU outlines areas of cooperation on trade facilitation and support for government-priority projects. PHILGUARANTEE expresses its hope that this partnership will contribute to more inclusive opportunities for both Malaysian and Filipino businesses, particularly in key sectors such as infrastructure, halal products, and other industries that support sustainable and equitable economic growth.
