PHILGUARANTEE Receives Recognition from NREA and SHDA for Advancing Housing Finance Access

Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) was recognized by major partners in the housing and real estate sector through two significant awards received in May 2026. The recognitions reflect PHIGUARANTEE’s strong commitment to advancing accessible and sustainable housing finance in the country, highlighting its continued efforts to strengthen the housing sector through its guarantee programs and strategic collaborations with government and private sector institutions.

On May 13, 2026, PHILGUARANTEE received an award from National Real Estate Association (NREA) during the 30th NREA–DHSUD National Convention and Award of Recognition. The award was received by Senior Vice President of the Housing Guarantee Group, Teresito Butardo, on behalf of the corporation.

Meanwhile, on May 20, 2026, PHILGUARANTEE was honored by the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) during its 56th Anniversary Celebration held in Taguig City. The award was received by SVP Teresito Butardo and was attended by PHILGUARANTEE President and CEO Alberto Pascual.

The two recognitions reflect PHILGUARANTEE’s strong partnership with the housing development sector and its continuing efforts to enhance and expand its guarantee programs, which have helped more Filipino families, particularly low- and middle-income homebuyers, gain improved access to safe, secure, and sustainable housing nationwide.
