PHILGUARANTEE, GCG Strengthen Governance Alignment Through 2026 Performance Scorecard Signing

The Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) and the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) have officially agreed on the 2026 Performance Evaluation Scorecard during a Technical Panel Meeting held on December 11, 2025, at the PHILGUARANTEE Headquarters in Makati City. The session marked an important milestone as both institutions affirmed their commitment to advancing organizational excellence.

The activity brought together PHILGUARANTEE SVP Ian A. Briones (Corporate Services Group), SVP Teresito Cayo A. Butardo (Housing Guarantee Group), SVP Celso R. Gutierrez (Priority Sectors Guarantee Group), SVP Atty. Emmanuel R. Torres (Agriculture Guarantee Group), SVP Liezl E. Pangan (Comptrollership Group), SVP Atty. Isabelo G. Gumaru (Legal Services Group), VP Atty. Ronces Anne S. Reyes-De Leon (CSG – HRODD), Planning Officer V Edwin Stefano C. Perez (CSG – SMCD), and several key heads and officers of PHILGUARANTEE, along with GCG OIC-Corporate Governance Officer V Ma. Ellaine S. De Leon, Corporate Governance Officers III Carlito Adrian B. Parras, Jr. and Alexis G. Avelino, Corporate Governance Officer II Renz Harold S. Cena, and Corporate Governance Officer I Hans Kenneth M. Mata.

During the meeting, PHILGUARANTEE and GCG thoroughly reviewed the agency’s strategic targets for 2026, ensuring that the indicators remain responsive, measurable, and aligned with PHILGUARANTEE’s mandate to broaden access to credit for key sectors of the economy.
