PHILGUARANTEE recognized among top GOCCs in 2024 GAD Budget Utilization

The Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) has earned recognition from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) as one of the government entities that demonstrated outstanding commitment in advancing gender equality through its 2024 Gender and Development (GAD) Budget.

In a recognition ceremony held on September 25, 2025 at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Quezon City, PHILGUARANTEE was cited among the top-performing government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs) for its gender-responsive programs. PHILGUARANTEE placed 10th in GOCCs with the Highest Organization-Focused GAD Budget Allocation and 8th in GOCCs with the Highest Organization-Focused GAD Budget Expenditure.

Receiving the award on behalf of the Corporation were Atty. Nelia Oandasan, PHILGUARANTEE GAD Executive Committee Chairperson, and Atty. Ronces Anne Reyes-De Leon, PHILGUARANTEE GAD-TWG Chairperson.

PCW Chairperson Ermelita Valdeavilla commended PHILGUARANTEE for its initiatives, noting that the Corporation’s programs continue to bring positive impact to women and girls, while
serving as an example of good practice in the government sector.

This milestone affirms PHILGUARANTEE’s commitment to sustain gender-responsive governance and to contribute meaningfully to the promotion of inclusive growth and equal opportunities.
