From Reflection to Action: PHILGUARANTEE Holds 2025 Mid-Year Performance Assessment and 2026-2028 Executive Planning Session

The Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PHILGUARANTEE) held its Mid-Year Performance Assessment and Executive Planning Session on August 7–8, 2025. With the theme “Positioning for Impact: Reflect, Refocus, Recommit,” the two-day event brought together the Board and Senior Management to review accomplishments and plan for the future.
The session was attended by the PHILGUARANTEE Board of Directors, which includes representatives from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development, and the Department of Agriculture, along with 3 members from the private sector.
In his opening remarks, President and CEO Alberto E. Pascual highlighted the company’s key achievements over the past three years. He challenged the management team to ensure PHILGUARANTEE remains a consistent “billionaires club” dividend remitter and to lay the groundwork for a sustainable future for the corporation.
Board and management members engaged in a roundtable dialogue to review portfolio performance, risk management, governance, technology, human capital, gender, and sustainability. The discussion aimed to align priorities and strengthen collaboration in preparation for PHILGUARANTEE’s 2026–2028 institutional plan.
Business units, support services, and oversight offices presented their plans, which guided the formulation of the proposed 2026 Performance Scorecard and the consolidation of management commitments. The Results Opportunities Conditions (ROC) and three-year strategies of the Groups and Offices were also discussed.
The event reaffirmed PHILGUARANTEE’s dedication to being responsive to stakeholders and
delivering on its development mandate over the next three years.
