PHILGUARANTEE attends AEBF Annual Meeting of CEOs in Malaysia

President and CEO Alberto E. Pascual attended the 27th Asian Exim Bank Forum (AEBF) Annual Meeting held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from November 14-17, 2022. The theme of the gathering was “EXIM Banks Role in Facilitating Sustainable and Resilient Business Growth and Partnerships Post Pandemic”. PCEO Pascual was also joined by SVP Celso R. Gutierrez, Head of the Priority Sectors Guarantee Group, during the 3-day confab.

Hosted by Malaysia Exim Bank (MEXIM), the event was attended by 10 other member EXIMs/ECAs from Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Turkey. Also in attendance were Saudi EXIM, International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (IITFC), and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the AEBF permanent observer.

Also, PHILGUARANTEE, as represented by PCEO Pascual, was one of the signatories to the Joint Statement of Financial Support to Green Development, together with the counterpart AEBF member-institutions.
